The Project

At the end of August, we were contacted by RMS Skip Hire, a London-based waste management company, who required a new weighbridge office for one of their sites.

Following an initial conversation to understand their requirements, we were able to quickly put together a bespoke layout drawing and quotation tailored to their needs.

The client required a custom size (15m x 3m), with a quick turnaround being a key priority.

We were able to offer a British made solution built to their exact specifications, with a lead time of just five weeks.

Internally, the building benefits from remote-controlled heat and cool air conditioning, along with a dedicated customer service counter. Serving windows were also installed at either end of the building, providing convenient sharing of information between office staff and drivers.

Externally, the building was finished in Goosewing Grey (10A05) plastic-coated steel, complemented by a custom Poppy Red (04E53) fascia, jack legs and door to tie in with company branding.

The building was delivered to site using a HIAB craned vehicle, allowing it to be safely lifted and positioned in place on a day that suited the client’s schedule.

As with all our portable cabins, the building arrived ready for immediate use and fully tested and certified.
